Question
Hi,
I was wondering if it would be accurate to look at the barometric pressure on the the weather report (like weather underground) or if its better to just use a barometer?
Thanks and God bless!

Jeremy,

I frequently use and compare several sources of weather data.  These include:

1.  The National Weather Service.

2.  Weather Underground.

3.  Intellicast.

4, Etc.

I haven’t found any source that accurately forecast barometric pressure more than a few hours out.  I believe whether the barometer is rising or falling is more important than the exact barometric pressure.  So – any source is probably fine as long as it’s easy to use.  I don’t see any need to have a barometer unless you need exact readings for research.

Enjoy creation,
