Would you write a forward to my book?

Grant I am in the process of writing a devotional about the hunts my son and I have been on.
I would like to see if you would be interested in promoting my book and I also wanted to know if you would be interested in writing and a forward to it. I realize you would need to read it. I am almost done with it so within the next few months I could get you a copy if it. This is a new endeavor for me so I don’t know how the business end works to promote it on your website.

I’m thrilled you are writing a book of devotions! I don’t know much about the book publishing business. I suggest you work with someone that understands the publishing business and go from there. Keep me posted!
