Question
I don’t mean to keep bothering you it just that I am so interested in what you do for a living. But anyways my questions is that I want to start to bow hunt i already use my bothers crossbow, but i want something more challenging . What would you recommend for a first time bow hunter. I want to get the new Matthew bow (Halon) but i am confused with the brace height. So if you have any advice.

Connor,

I’ve never shot/touched the Halon so I can’t speak about that bow.  Raleigh (my daughter) started with a bow from Quest (http://www.questbowhunting.com/).  She’s tagged two bucks with it and I enjoy shooting it!  I believe you can purchase a great Quest bow for about 1/2 the price of the Halon and save plenty of money for other gear.

Enjoy creation,
