Is this a whitetail or mulie?

Question
Grant is this buck a whitetail. It came from a guy that use to hunt the property we own about 8 years ago. I’ve had people doubt it and say it’s a mule deer. Your thoughts?

The habitat looks like mulie country, and the deer looks like a mulie to both Daniel (used to work in Colorado) and me (used to work in Nevada). We believe it’s a mulie.
