Just a quick question about all the bucks that you folks are able to harvest. Where I am from virtually every buck that is harvested on your show would be considered a trophy buck. I was wondering how many of the bucks that are harvested on the proving grounds are mounted? I was also wondering how many tags that you folks are allowed to harvest in your neck of the woods. We are only allowed to harvest one deer per year unless a bonus tag is awarded in the antlerless drawing.

John,

In Missouri (where I live) hunters may take two bucks with a bow (only one before gun season) and one buck with a gun.

Every buck tagged at my place is either mounted or a European is created.  We consume all the venison – the biggest trophy!

Enjoy creation,
