What brand of bow do you suggest for a first time bow hunter?

I’ve never bow hunted before, but think I would enjoy it. However, I’ve talked with many in my area who have tried it and gave it up.

What bow would you recommend starting with? I don’t want to spend a fortune on equipment only to find out it’s not for me.

Bow hunting is certainly a challenge!  It’s a great opportunity to fine tune hunting skills.

Quest bows tend to be about half the price of most pro shop quality bows.

I believe making sure the bow fits well (correct draw length and weight) is more important that the brand.  I’ve shared several tips for improving accuracy and practicing with a bow during recent episode at GrowingDeer.com!
