Question
Hi Dr. Woods,

I don’t really have a question however I just wanted to say that after coming across your YouTube page about a year or so ago, my outlook on hunting and “managing” of deer has changed.

I’m a avid hunter, love to be outdoors working out at the deer lease down here in East Texas and I totally look forward to your videos every week.

I even went back a few years to get some ideas from your tree and food plots based around pines etc.

As I continue to watch your videos and with the great help you have with your interns and Adam, it has made me think about my life and what I want out of it. As of yesterday (02/23/16) I started to look into going into school to be a Wildlife Biologist.

I talk my father’s ear off about your expertise and probably implementing some of your practices at the lease we currently hunt on.

I wanted to come to this years Field Day and bring my father, however with him recently getting laid off, the timing and cash just wasn’t within our reach. Hope you have another one next year for us to attend as I see the knowledge you and those you work with is invaluable.

As you say every time you close your videos; to slow down and listen to what the Creator is saying to you – he was definitely telling me to reach out to thank you, your family and your team for helping me out and getting a plan ready for the upcoming season.

Have a good day and thank you Dr. Woods.

May the Lord continue to bless you and your family.

Stephen,

Thank you for sharing the kind and encouraging words!  There are several universities in Texas with good wildlife programs!

May God provide for you and your family and may you be blessed with many enjoyable days in creation!
